is the summer that i was in love with my best friend, and my parents dragged to elora gorge, camping with my family, and i would put ‘the moon and antartica’ into my cd player and sit on the edge of the gorge for hours, watching the birds go by and the sun move through the sky and feeling my skin tan and smell the campfires that burned in the middle of the day and thinking about the lyrics to this song, and what they could possibly mean.

I’d be reblogging this song no matter what anyway, but I was listening to it JUST YESTERDAY. Modest Mouse was my first musical love and will probably be my last. Even their new songs are golden. Yes, I am insane, thanks.
